Bookings are required for all groups and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
A 25% deposit is required no later than 2 weeks prior to your tour date to finalize confirmation. Once you receive an email confirmation invoice from us, then your booking has been finalized.
Payment in full is required prior to the beginning of the tour on the date of your arrival. If your final numbers have changed, we can adjust the remaining balance accordingly, as long as the group remains in the appropriate numbers for this type of tour.
If you are a tax-exempt group, please include proof of your status to your booking request so we know to not apply taxes to your group.
Whiney Plantation is an outdoor site. Plan to wear clothing appropriate for walking and being outdoors.
Whitney Plantation is a site for remembrance. Attendees of all tours are expected to treat Whitney staff and site with respect, including buildings, memorials, and the land itself.
Guided Tours are offered at 10:45am, 12:45pm and 2:45pm. They are available on a first-come, first served-basis.
Self-guided audio tours are offered between 9:30am – 3:00pm. Arrive at any time in this window to begin your tour.
Education tours are tailored for middle and high schoolers. We serve schools, homeschools pods, scout groups, clubs, and youth groups.
Large group tours are for groups of 20-50 people of all ages. This type of tour is well-suited for church groups, family reunions and universities.
